Ideas for my Husband's 40th?

Hello!

Ideas for my Husband’s 40th? My husband is fast approaching his big 4-0 birthday and I am totally out of ideas of what to do to celebrate. We have a very small select group of friends but he does have a large family. I’d like to go out, maybe somewhere in Melbourne city, where we could have all of the family come to share in the celebration. Any ideas on what we could do or even things to avoid?

It is my brothers big 40 this year on Feb 29 and one of my other brothers said he wanted to go out as he is the only person in the family that doesn’t have kids . I think if it a large family with kids an option might be to hire out a hall with catering etc or go to a place where the restaurant is family/kids family . I don’t reside in Vic, but I am sure you will get a lot of suggestions .

Why not throw him a surprise 40th?
Melbourne is full of so many wonderful ways to celebrate a birthday.

I’m trying to think of ideas for my husbands 40th now. top of my list is a night away with family and friends where the men can play golf during the day, us ladies can shop or have a spa day, then we all catch up in the evening for dinner and drinks.
