  • Perhaps get a craft kit or something similar.

  • Depending on the age of the person bath bombs are inexpensive and easy to make or even handmade chocolates

  • Pop into Spotlight – there are heaps of great, creative items to be bought that can be made into a gift box of goodies that will give the child numerous options to create their own special present – wooden boxes and paints, stickers, beads, and more!

  • If you are seeking a child friendly gift I usually put the kids hands in pant and put it on a piece of paper. Or hand make a photo frame and decorate it.

  • This is a good time of the year to stock up on creative and craft items. There are usually lots of bargains at sale time.

  • I love to buy bags and fill them with creative and craft items. The possibilities are endless with creative and craft items.

  • A photo in a gorgeous frame is always lovely!

  • How about a fabric notice board. You can make it for either a girl or boy ..they can put photo’s on it or even hair ribbons etc.

  • YOU DID NOT SAY AGE OF CHILD, iF BABY CAN KNIT A STUFFED TOY. tHREE ON WARDS i COLLECTED TOGETHER COLOURING IN BOOKS AND PENCILS OR CRAYONS (WHICH CAN BE CLEANED BY WATER)AS KIDS DO NOT ALWAYS DRAW ON THE PAPER. eVEN CHEAP SCRAP BOOKS TO USE. ALL GOT FROM THE CHEAP SHOPS.MAKE CUT OUT ANIMALS FROM CARDBOARD SO CHILD CAN DRAW AROUND THEM. SNAKES AND LADDERS ETC CAN BE BOUGHT IN BOX WITH OTHER GAMES TO PLAY, AGAIN CHEA SHOP HAVE THESE. iF IT IS TOUR CHILD YOU CAN PLAY WITH THEM ALSO ARE FUN AND EDUCATIONAL.
HOPE THIS HELPS. PLAY WITH MY GRANDKIDS NOW

  • All depends on what the child likes. Bit hard to suggest things to make without knowing likes or interests

  • If you know how to knit maybe make them a lovely scarf

  • Maybe a craft pack? I’m not sure where you are, but dollar stores sell all sorts of things for cheap, we have Roni’s near us and their craft is inexpensive but good. I know it’s not exactly the same as “making” something, but compiling a bunch of stuff just from your cupboards and drawers like wool, twine, straws, beads etc and putting them in a little box so that the kid getting it can make their own things would be a hit with my two, at least!
