Hello!

Is the iPhone 6 worth the money or should I stick to the 5? Are there any special features that come as extras?

  • If your current phone does everything you need, I wouldn’t upgrade for a while.

  • I look at the prices of new mobile phones and think ‘whoa, no way am I paying that!’ I think they’re outrageously priced and prefer to wait a couple of months for the price to drop before I buy a new one

  • I don’t think the new phones are really worth the prices, but I only need a basic phone for texting and calling

  • I think it depends what you want out of your phone. Memory is better and slightly faster processing. it is bigger and you have a choice of 2 sizes. camera is better too and it will have the latest technology. nothing is made to last very long now so it will be out dated in a year or two anyway like the iPhone, 2, 3, 4, or 5!

  • I really don’t think keeping up with technology is every a good idea. I did when I was a teenager though! I’m still using a galaxy s2!

  • I do not personally think so. There are cheaper phones out there that are just as good, if not better. All depends on personal preference

  • If your phone isn’t broken why replace it?

  • Interesting to note they are not making the 5 anymore, so if you need to upgrade the six may be your only option. I’m resisting at this stage because i dont think there is much more to gain!

  • I would just stick with the 5. I don’t think the upgrades are significant enough.

  • Whether something is”worth” the money is entirely up to the buyer, but the very few extras you get from last years model makes the costs difficult to justify for me personally. I tend to work in the opposite direction: define what I’m willing to pay for a phone, figure out what I need and then want and assess my options from there.

  • Love mine. Greater storage and functionality. I’d be lost without it at work, uni or travelling. It’s a lot easier than slugging a laptop everywhere.

  • Personally i would say no. Its really no different to its older models. I got over my iphone 6 mightly quickly and went for the samsung galaxy note 4. Much happier

  • My dad has it and thinks it’s great yet my partners sister has hers in for repairs constantly but I think it’s the user and not the phone. The slim design is great but get a case to protect it as it is easy to drop.

  • The main difference is probably the size and camera. I use mine a lot for web browsing so I like the bigger screen

  • I would wait until it’s been out awhile. There always seems to be problems with new iPhones.
