Hello!

During the last couple of weeks lots have gone on. My daughter had a baby girl, so precious. Also moved house. I had to replace the gas bottle. Then I had to get the house back to normal and clean everything.

  • Sounds you’ve had a busy period. It’s always good that when you’re on capacity, you don’t take more on then you can handle and make sure you plan activities to recharge your battery. Success !

  • you have been busy all too much time to set aside some time for you to relax, jobs are always there no matter what. But you are important and need a break please do take it, life is too short, wish I had learned this earlier myself, so sharing with you. My sons wedding, just celebrated first year, He inherited three gorgeous kids too, so they are busy but still take time for each other, thank goodness

  • Yes ,I’m always busy ,something needs my attention, best way list what jobs are urgent then do them .

  • Yes, I sometimes feel very flat out, I organise my kids lunches and childcare bags in the morning, go to work full time, help my daughter with her homework, get baby play time in with my son, cook dinner, do dishes, clean up and do it all again the next day. I love weekends, I get to sleep in until 7am!

  • I can most definitely relate to this!!!!

  • Yes, mothers are always very busy and that will never change. We are the foundation of the house. I treat vacuumming and vigorous housework like exercise, I make lists, am forever tidying, arranging, sorting. I see the rewards as something getting done and things running smoothly. Good sleep is essential.

  • yes just try to keep on top of it buy doing a little bit every day. Try to see the positives and smile :) If your children are capable, try to get them to help keep their room tidy. They might not be able to do the task but get them to help you. Bring all the books to you so you can put them back into the bookshelf etc. They will be trying to help from around 2 years and it is cute. Turn housework into a dance party! I spent 7 hours yesterday just cleaning out our garage! Wiping off dust and re-organising and sorting through toys and the kids helped for a part of it. It looks great now but it was a lot of work. I don’t even want to think about cleaning it again lol. I

  • Congratulations on your new grand-child you are blessed. Also for your new home I’m sure you will be able to sit back and relax soon. You must shut the door at least once a week and go out and have some fun. Take a drive, a picnic, a movie and coffee with friends. Just pay yourself some me time. The house will be there as will the house work just remember stop and smell the roses. Life is way too short. Enjoy your life!

  • Always flat out, and if i have a few lazy days house ends up looking like a tornado hit it. So i just keep on top of it everyday.

  • I find one very busy one. As soon as things slow done a little and i catch my breath get the house tidy again. It takes off again as the kids who are 6,5,and 2 get older life is getting busier with all their social events after school sports, playgroups appointments etc….

  • Yes, I agree. Activity seems to happen in fits and spurts. It’ll calm down soon enough.

  • I think most mums feel this way.

  • Oh it’s never ending!

  • You are not alone, many Mums feel this way…. I am one of them.

  • The answer is yes, you are not alone, my kids had sports, training, seemed to be running on a fast fast time zone….Now my kids are grown and I am a Nana and live mostly alone. But I still keep busy too, not enough hours in a day all things find need or want to do, also more doctor’s appointments (now for me it is true). But as I age no not gracefully, I have to say”stop” and leave where-ever in the over rush I am at! So please find some time for you too (not to use as time free for cleaning or housework) rest ,read or watch a video if free to do. I learned it late but now I do..so hope this helps you now not later it is true (wish this was me but not it is true) posting it now on my sesktop it will go too
