  • I think there are some types of fish/seafood that need to be avoided and others that are safe. I did eat the safe kind during pregnancy.

  • I dont think I worried I ate prawns and I didn’t notice anything like I didnt get unwell from eating them

  • you can but you need to be very careful how its stored, prepared and cooked

  • I would avoid seafood during pregnancy at all costs, just in case. Not an issue for me as I don’t like it

  • Eating seafood during pregnancy was never an issue for me as I don’t like it and never eat it

  • As long as its cooked. If you’re eating fish – ensure its the smaller fishes or those that are lower in the food chain? Tuna has a higher mercury content but some is still ok. Have forgotten the limits

  • only eat cooked seafood. and try to limit the amount you eat. it has to do with mercury or something, i dont entirely remember, but i was told by my gp that 2 portions a week is enough.

  • From what I believe seafood is vey risky if not cooked properly . During my pregnancies I only stuck to fish because it is a food that get constantly reminded it is full of Omega3 etc.. which is good for the brain development etc.. Also seafood is not cheap for your budget and must always be fresh .
