Hello!

I have Foxtel and thinking of adding Netflix as I don’t have the movie channels on Foxtel. Is it worth getting Netflix?

  • I found there wasn’t a lot of new content and got rid of it this earlier this year. It just wasn’t worth it with the price hike to me

  • A friend of mine has it and loves it. She and her family watch a few movies a week.

  • We want to get it as well and it is good to know about the free trial!

  • I love netflix lots of series good variety and cheap we barely watch anything else now.

  • I’ve heard good things about Netflix. Personally I don’t watch a lot of tv and you can watch a lot of movies online.

  • Interesting to read the comments – but I would probably not watch enough TV/shows to make it worthwhile

  • I would recommend Netflix as it is cheaper than Foxtel and you still get to see most of what foxtel offers. The series movies all come up at once, you don’t have to wait for bits and pieces.

  • I love netflix! It isn’t as good as America but we will get there. They add new things all the time! Plus you get a one month free trial to decide whether you like it

  • We got it and I think it’s worth it. Use the one month trial and see what you think. We use it for us and our toddler. We watch movies as well as TV shows. It’s pretty good!

  • I would recommend Netflix on the kids content alone!! It has so many options for me to play shows for my 2 year old, from movies to TV series like her favourites Wiggles and Dora. Worth every cent!!

  • We looked at internet movie options. We found Presto, was the best we found. All the latest movies and TV shows for a small $15 a month it’s brilliant, we even got the first 6 months free….even better

  • Go for the free trial and see if you think it is worth it. We are currently using the free trial and so far we love it. Its not too expensive either.

  • We love Netflix! We tried it out and now we always use it. Great for a Saturday night and nothing is on. You have so much choice!
Just be careful of Internet usage. I’m with iiNet (for Internet) so our Netflix usage doesn’t come off our monthly internet allowance.

  • It was good to read what other Mums felt about Netflix, I will enquire about a free trial with Telstra now. Thanks!

  • I have Netflix but I like watching TV series in a set, if you are after movies a lot of the movies they have are old ones bar a few new ones.
