Hello!

is it worth being on priceline flybys everyday rewards cards to get points to earn something or is it more of a marketing to get people to keep buying their items and lose money that way??

  • No it’s not for what you get back! Shop at Chemist Warehouse and you will save so much more!

  • I find a discount chemist like a Chemist Warehouse or Priceline Pharmacy are generally cheapest. You can also find certain items on sale in Coles for just a few dollars compared to similar products 5 or 6 times as expensive in the mainstream chemists.

  • As long as you only buy what you need and don’t buy because of what the reward programs suggest then it can defiantly be worth your while

  • If buying non-prescription goods of any type you should get a discount when you make payment. If you are older and have a Seniors Card you get a higher discount with it. They don’t always ask you if you have a Seniors Card though.
Their prices for some prescriptions are also cheaper than some other national pharmacy groups. e.g. one I get is $17.50 for one (or could even be higher now), at Priceline it is $7.90. = $15.80 for Two….such a big difference.

  • if you are shopping there anyway, use the card, why not?

  • Marketing companies will target spending habits, but it is still up to each person to decide on joining loyalty programs.

  • These cards are only worthwhile if you are purchasing goods anyway. I see them as a bonus and only use them when I have to buy items. I do not buy items to get rewards as it defeats the purpose of getting points and a bonus. I enjoy getting points for cheaper petrol and receiving vouchers from Priceline and other shops.

  • Depends on how much you use it. I hardly use mine so it takes forever to build up enough points to get anything
