I’m just wondering if you serve your Christmas feast hot or hold? Do you have a hot traditional style Christmas dinner/lunch, or a cold meat and salad type dinner/lunch? I grew up having cold meats, seafood and salads but some of my partner’s extended family had hot dinners. Not sure if one time I would like to do a hot meal for Christmas, but will obviously need the air con cranked up to dispel the heat!

  • We have a big breakfast while opening the gifts. We then have a big meal at dinner time. Always warm.

  • Our Christmas starts off with Christmas eve we have a family celebration (this is traditional) with my husband and two kids. We have the ham, turkey baked vegies, my husband loves this and cooks everything…Then christmas day is crazy upto my family with seafood maybe a turkey or ham, then off to my in laws which is the fully cooked dinner. Our Christmas Eve dinner does get hot but is worth it .. sounds like some of our food is similar to yours why not try our tradition with just your husband and kids…ps we dont have air conditioning but the windows are open…
