  • I know on our recent cruise we were not allowed to take power boards extension cords or irons. Along with tho typical alcohol and weapons. I would imagine lots of ships would have it on their websites in the FAQ section.

  • I have now received from the cruise company.
Food is not included on the list. As one of us is on a special diet and we have to take snacks, I will check with the cruise line. They had a computer glitch which was one of the reasons for their delay in replying.

  • Weapon, alcohol and food.

  • I don’t recall any thing other than the same restrictions you would have travelling anywhere overseas. Alcohol, weapons etc.

  • I’ve been on four cruises and don’t remember having a do not take list – except for alcohol/weapons. I’m sure the cruise companies can provide that information to you

  • I’ve recently returned from a cruise and we were screened for any dangerous weapons, and also we were told we could not take any food or drinks that had already been opened. I guess sealed bottles and packets were okay.

  • to be sure I would check as each company have different rules. for example some boats dont let you take alcohol on board. i think this is so you buy it from them. etc.

  • Check terms and conditions and websites. Travel agents and online bookings should provide you with this information and all other relevant information. It should be included with your travel documents. Most places are only to happy to help – check with the operators.

  • Agree with the last respondent, your booking will be pursuant to certain conditions which would likely include any restrictions. Check your booking (if you have one) and see if they direct you to the appropriate terms and conditions.

  • You could try checking the T&C’s on their webpages – I think its a question they would be asked a lot. Each company would have their own lists – so checking before booking is a good idea. You could also drop into any travel agency and they would give a very knowledgeable answer – they provide such information obligation free.

  • Royal Carribean HO is in USA via a 13 number. I can’t ring 12 or 1800 numbers at the moment because there is something wrong with my phone that is connected via internet. so frustrating!!! I have contacted my ISP about it

  • Why don’t you just ring them and ask? That’s the best way to be sure.
