That’s so sad to hear. You’d think they would be more supportive.

I am an IVF mumma, and it is true that you see who your friends and family really are during the struggles.
I sometimes felt like I was annoying people if I spoke about my journey or my losses. But I have since realised, real friends will listen and empathise and support and cheer you on.

She doesnt need unsupportive people, she needs positivity and love. I imagine she would be full of stress and anxiety when for most, its a time of excitement.

Help her to destress, have a ladies day at the spa, get your nails done, a massage, a girls night in etc.

I know I just wanted people to be happy for me.

I think it’s most important to look to your own responses to her and speak positively about her. You can’t turn negative nannies around, they need to do that themselves.
