  • Vitamins for anyone will only be worth the money if the person is lacking in something, otherwise you just have very expensive urine

  • Only if your child is lacking a particular vitamin otherwise they just go straight through you and are peed out as they are considered extras/not needed so the body gets rid of them

  • Our dentist told me that they aren’t worthwhile – almost all of it is sugar with a super small percentage of the vitamin. He said you’re better getting the kids to eat fruit and veggies.

  • yeah they are full of sugar unfortunately, even the pro biotics

  • My son is a fussy eater and yes diet is “all” you need but i really dont see the problem with a boost of extra bits and pieces!

  • 2 weeks ago this was all over the news saying that vitamins are a waste of money and dont actually do anything! And a healthy diet is all you need!

  • My children (5, 15 and 16) take Vitamin D in the Winter months. I have low levels as does my 5 year old (the other two have never been tested but it follows that they would be, especially as they get less sunlight than us. Vitaminc C is also good in Winter.

  • If your buying them at half price then I have to agree with you – they can’t hurt so why not. I only use them when I’m really struggling to get nutrition into them if they’re sick and not eating or need probiotics. But if the cost isn’t affecting you then go for it, just please remember that quality, fresh cooked foods are best for your child instead of vitamins and supplements as many aren’t absorbed properly from the gut.

  • Kids only need a vitamin if they are lacking in the vitamin itself. Taking a multi vitamin is like throwing a bag of darts at a dartboard the majority will miss the mark.

  • We used to give ours multi vitamins but now they just have a vitamin c tablet

  • Vitamins can also be quite expensive.

  • My gp told me that their not worth it because the amount if Vitamins in each is so small that it doesn’t make a difference. He also advised that they are full of sugar so I no longer give it to my kids.

  • it takes 4 weeks for your kids body to make it work, they do tends to have a LOT of sugar. ive stopped buying them because they were basically full of sugar and it doesn’t work unless you giving it to your child every day without a day missed. I use my blender to chop up my vegies to hide vegies. I even have to do it to my husband too!!!

  • A well balanced diet should provide children with everything they need.

  • Some of them are basically sugar, be careful which you buy.
