  • We bought a sturdy on e from ebay some years ago

  • I would Google first and then see what Bunnings has to compare quality and price.

  • Maybe speak to someone at Bunnings.

  • My favourite cubby house is the ones we make ourselves. The sheet over the kitchen table. Blankets and cushions in the lounge. Towels and sheets hung on the clothes line. The leaf and grass ones made in the bush. So much fun!

  • I’ve been looking into this too but haven’t found anything that’s value for money. I also have a dog that chews on things so this cheap wood a lot of them are made out of wouldn’t last long at my place. What did you end up getting?

  • We have spent the last few months researching this too! We live in regional area and so freight was ridiculous for many products we liked. We were thinking of one from climbing frames.com.au. But the freight was more expensive than the cubby! We ended up going with one from bunnings, it is still in a box at the moment, ready for Santa to deliver! They had one on display at the store and it looked good. Hubby liked the steel poles and the larger sized cubby area, which we hope will outlast the kids.

  • The Bunnings ones are great & really well priced :-)

  • We love the Bunnings cubby houses as you can add on to selected styles, this means that each year in our house, the cubby house is expanded with forts, swings and climbing frame.

  • Build your own… I am and i’m a single mum and it’s taking a little while but my boys are helping me and enjoying every second. Hunt around for frames and things via gumtree and you can get most of it for free. Otherwise if you don’t have the time….Costco’s one if great but suitable only whilst they are young. Masters has some too. but check ebay / gumtree as they might have some awesome ready to go.

  • alright well my hubby is in the process of making one. my camera is broken or i would share a pic of his progress so far. last christmas, we went past a business that had a big stack of free pallets, so we grabbed a lot and had plans to use them. they sat there and now hubby finally can get into it. basically what he has done is put a 2 big pallets together, put a pallet back wall & a board thing for a roof and is working on putting the side rails on, so basically it looks like a beach shack. it will be good for the kids or you could use this as an outdoor bar! it’s a great project for him and so far, it has been relatively cheap because pallets are so handy!

  • Bunnings has a pretty good range, think Costco has a few as well.

  • Awesome Playgrounds. They have a Facebook page as well as the website, very friendly, wide range and excellent customer service.

  • you have got to check out ebay..

  • Which ever cubby you go with it is important to place it where the kids will use it.
We placed ours up the back yard and the kids never when near it!
Moved it near the house and they played in it all day long!
Ask the kids where they would like the cubby and make sure it only goes up once!

  • Bunnings have a great cubby that is big enough for a couple of kids. It’s super easy to puttogether too.
