The lunch boxes now are so fancy….great selection out there

My son had a Sistema Bento Lunch To Go Lunchbox last year for kindy and it’s still in excellent condition. This year he has a bigger version as he will eat more. I always find the sistema brand excellent quality that lasts. I don’t have to buy anymore lunch boxes for he three big sisters because theirs are still in excellent condition.

I found the Sistema lunch boxes the best as they have a seal in the lid that you can remove to wash everything then put the seal back. My husband even used them for his lunch (and he had beetroot) but nothing ever spilt out. Hope you can find one that suits you best.

I’m told go green but I’ve never had an issue with our yumbox.

I haven’t had a problem with the bento lunch box sets yet!

I use the systema Benton box and I highly recommend. Been through so many lunchboxes but this one has actually lasted and never, ever leaked.

Bento boxes that have the grooves on the lid help seal things properly

We use a sistema bento box that you can get from woolworths. Both my 8 year and and 4 year old have one and both find it easy to open. If you get some of the little pots you can keep the food from getting squashed.

So I’m not a fan of these bento boxes for starters not everything fits ????????‍♀️ Most fruit and veg won’t unless you cut it to fit and then some kids can’t open them or worse they open it upside down

I love the Michelle Bridges sets. You can get them from Woolworths. They seal well and last for ages even with daily dishwasher heat.

I have a Yumbox and a Bento style lunchbox from the supermarket for my youngest. I found the disadvantage from the Yumbox is that it doesn’t have a cool element (and doesn’t fit a cool element either) whilst the Bento style lunchbox I bought from the supermarket does have that. I do prefer to place a cool element in the lunchbox to keep cheeses sausages and yoghurts cool.

Whatever you pick, make sure the kids can open them before you buy them. Aldi usually has some good ones on sale before school goes back, and if you’re willing to pay more, Stuck on You does really good quality peronsalised ones.
