Hello!

My nearly 4 year old daughter has been diagnosed with acne yep you read correctly ACNE!!! We have been prescribed some heavy duty cream and can only leave it on for 20 mins or so before washing it off and only doing it every 2nd day. I am not too happy about using such a potent cream on her delicate skin but want her skin to go back to normal. Anyone have any suggestions that might help. Do you have any suggestions for managing acne on young skin?

  • Hi
Bad acne on the face is very terrible to handle. I also have the same problem. I heard about hydrafacial treatment. It is affordable best way to treat acne and acne scars. For more details about this visit here http://www.medixskincare.com.au/hydrafacial-best-way-treat-acne-scars/

  • I’d maybe speak to your chemist

  • Maybe ask a the body shop or health food store

  • i hope you found a better solution

  • Hope you managed to find some ideas that have helped.

  • How is your 4 year old going now?

  • What did you end up using?

  • I hope you manage to find something less strong that works well.

  • I would be very carful using harsh creams. Acne can’t be cured and this treatment will be ongoing, so using these harsh treatment will be permanent. Try less harsh alternatives.

  • MooGoo they have a cream specifically for this-think it is actually called acne cream. Get it from health food shops.

  • Have you tried sudocrem on her acne?

  • I would use a medicated wash on her skin and get one that is for sensitive skin. I hope it all works out for her, such a shame to have this so young

  • Wanted to know aswell, thanks for posting.

  • Watch the diet! Steer clear of fatty foods as they will exacerbate the issue

  • I hope you find what you a looking for, for your daughters skin
