  • I’ve done 3 and did not notice any difference in my skin other than very temporary softness.

  • I’ve enjoyed reading the comments.

  • I’m too scared to try anything like this.

  • No l have heard so many horror stories l won’t go there!

  • You should invest in a good skin routine when you’re young, might help prevent the damage done by the time we’re older. I’ld love a good dermabrasion, if it’s true that it helps reduce wrinkles

  • oh jeepers no – just be happy and let that shine through I am 47 and friends have had these peels etc…. no difference.

  • there are some very good responses here. thanks

  • Oh gosh no. I have rather sensitive skin though. I found the Body Shop products (cleanse, tone, moisturise step program) amazing for my skin. They match your skin to the best program as they have many. I am on the sensitive aloe range and it is wonderful and gentle

  • I have had one session of microdermabrasion and it made my skin feel lovely and soft for a day and then I could not tell the difference. It was lovely and gentle and not as harsh as I thought it might be.

  • The nutrimetics range is great and the new DNA range is also good makes you look younger in 10 days. You can go on my web if your interested in buying and have a look whats good it gets delivered straight to your home address or PO Box and is often on special. Have a look http://www.nutrimetics.com.au/tracybaker

  • Some great tips here thanks.

  • am interested to know to, thanks everyone for answers :)

  • I’m 23 and love microdermabrasion :) look out for scoopons etc (super cheap- $25-40) in your area! Try it once and see if you like it :)

  • I think they are a good idea but they are not to be used all the time.

  • I am 40 and I swear by microdermabrasion. I’m mum to two boys aged 3 & 1 and can’t afford to go to the salon as often as the therapist suggest, so I mix it up ! Luckily I trained in skincare once upon a time so I know what’s good and what’s not ! Personally I use a lot of nutrimetics products and I know a few therapists who use the Nutrimetics range in their home salons. The microdermabrasion set is brilliant, and the cream face peel. Best way to get these is simply have a party and get them either free or at a very reduced price. That’s how I get mine !
