Mom of 2 school kids, how do I go about homeschooling?

Hello!

I have a kindergartener and a 2nd grader, I also had a support team that insisted they new how to sign up for homeschooling in the middle of this pandemic, but literally the day before they left me hanging and said I can do it myself, but I have no idea where to go, how to do it, how to tell the school. It’s so stressful.

There might also be support networks /links for home schooling from Ed Dept?

An education department of a state/territory (where you live) should be able to assist or put you in contact with the right people and resources.

It’s not totally clear to me if you really want to start home schooling permanently or if it’s temporary measure due to covid ? in the case of the later, school should provide online tasks and you should be able to get support from the school. Drop an email and request a phonecall and express your concerns !
