  • Please try to not worry about it. Every child is different from the other. My dd teeth took a long time to come out but once started was lots of them at the same time. She was near 1yo when she had her first tooth out. So I wouldn’t worry. :)

  • All bubs are different, My 1st was 16wks when he cut his 1st tooth! My 2nd had no teeth until 9.5mths. Both had a full set by 2.2yrs :)

  • I had people telling me my bub was teething from the age of 8 weeks :/ All because she had rosy red cheeks. She actually didn’t pop a tooth til around 7 months. Babies do everything a their own pace, it’s best if parents don’t compare them to other babies, it’s no good for your health. If you continue to worry, ask your child health nurse for some reassurance

  • yeah i think that it is by one years that they can get their first tooth. mine got theirs around 6 months but it is different for every child

  • My daughter had her first tooth at 8 and a half months old.

  • Can you feel them in your son’s gums at all? I know a baby girl whose teeth could be felt in her gums at 9 weeks. She was dribbling too. They didn’t come through for quite awhile after that.

  • They can show all the signs of teething but teeth not appear for what seems like forvere. The teeth move up and down in their jaw before they make their grand arrival. Some babies get teeth early and some have none on their 1st birthday. Don’t worry – they are inthere! The blue bobookis a handy guide for when things might happen

  • My bubs is 1 in 10 days and still has no teeth. My MIL said DH didn’t get his to really late, so not sure if it is genetic.
My niece didn’t get teeth till she was 18 months.

  • My mum said I didn’t get teeth until I was about 12 months old, I was just late and it didn’t really matter, your baby will get it when they are ready
