  • Why avoid any? I’m not sure how old your daughter is but she can wear whatever she (or you if she’s still little) wants to. As she gets older she’ll develop her own tastes style but I wouldn’t worry about it now.

  • Anything she wants!

  • When she tries on clothes you’ll be able to tell which colours suit her complexion more and which ones do not. I’m not a redhead but for me yellow is a no go.

  • You also need to consider your daughter’s skin complexion. I am / was a redhead and have always had a fair complexion. Orange and pale lemon have always looked horrible on me. Some tones of green make me “look green” as though I’m going to be sick. On myself I prefer blue- doesn’t matter how dark or light. Grey and bronze type colours make me look really pale. Some tones of red may clash with her hair /skin complexion. Because of my skin I don’t tan much at all. Before the introduction of good sunscreens I could only stay out in the sun for a short time before I would burn. I started to learn to swim in an outdoor saltwater swimming pool – hourly lessons at 9.00am. I started to get sunburnt so the 3rd day onwards I wore a 100% cotton t-shirt over my one piece swimsuit. My Mum threw the towel over my shoulders before I was even completely out of the water at the end of lessons. By the end of the first week I had a big blister on the top of my right shoulder. Suncreams weren’t working so the chemist made up a special one – an old but good one. It worked slowly but didn’t have a pleasant smell. I only did 5 lessons and have to give up. The blister was really puffed up and eventually burst before my skin healed.

  • I think red heads can rock whatever colour they want!

  • I always think of Nicole Kidman when someone talks or think about red hair . Maybe take a look at some of her photos as I think she would look stunning in a lot of colours that you would not think of . Good luck .

  • I think any colours will suit your daughter especially ones that she chooses. Never be afraid to show personality with what you wear. That’s the fun part of dressing up!

  • My girl is a red head and cute enough to get away with any colour. Dress her in whatever you think suits your bubba. Mum knows best ;)

  • I would let her wear whatever colour she liked and not restrict her because of the colour of her hair. I’m sure she will look gorgeous no matter what.

  • I’m not sure what to avoid but redheads look gorgeous in green and brown colours.

  • Children can wear any colours they like regardless of hair colour. Our children choose their colours and clothes and have fun with fashion.
