There are strips you can get to put on your nose to help with snoring. They’re available at the chemist. You just stick them on your nose before going to sleep – they’re made to pull the nostrils open to help air flow.
My husband is a horrific snorer who uses a snoring machine. Hubby is a bigger man and I notice that if he loses a little bit of weight, his snoring isn’t as bad or at one point he completely stopped snoring altogether. If he puts more weight on, his snoring gets worse.
My husband was the same and did a sleep study where he found out he actually had sleep apnea. He now has a CPAP machine which has helped a lot. I recommend making an appointment with his GP and getting to the bottom of the problem.
First up, there could be an underlying issue that’s causing him to snore. Get him to see his Dr first, who might Get him booked into a sleep Dr. They will hook him up and monitor his sleeping and everything.
