Hi Mums. We just moved here from South Africa and I was wondering what nappy brands you would recommend for my baby boy. Thanks

  • i use the coles brand there nice and cheap and work great

  • huggies all the way .

  • We use Huggies for night time as our 20 month old sleeps 12 hours a night (and has since she was 8 months old) and we find nothing else holds as much liquid.
Then we use the coles brand nappies through the day.

  • I myself prefer Babylove plus they are cheaper which suits me but other mums I know will only use Huggies, so I think it’s each to there own.

  • Hi, with 4 boys, we tried all the brands. We found that the Aldi brand was great value for money and very good quality. I had 4 in nappies at one stage. Occasionally they do specials and you can buy a whole box of nappies for about $18. They are unisex, and I have not used them for girls, sorry.

  • I like huggies but they can be expensive so I also get baby love too

  • And welcome from South Africa! You will soon find lots of home comforts around the place!!!

  • Woolworths homebrand or select brand. I found them better and cheaper than huggies!

  • Take a look at the big selection at www . flowerchild.com.au lots of advice and if you can visit one of their stores, you can toch, feel and even try on your baby for best fit. All The staff are trained to advise.

  • Huggies

  • Huggies. But for the best cheapest alternatives I found Snugglers from Big W the best. I think it’s worth trying a few brands out and seeing what works for your son, depends on fit and how heavy a wetter he is. My son is very thin so we needed well fitting nappies to ensure no leaks!

  • Huggies

  • I used Huggies from newborn to 6 months, then changed to Baby Love as I find baby love is a lot softer than Huggies. Huggies feels rough, although huggies is thicker than baby love. Now at 2 years I alternate baby love and aldi.
Try buy the small package of the cheapest first, if you don’t like it, buy the more expensive one and see how you go.

  • Huggies are meant to be the best, but my kids didn’t like them very much. They are a small fit and the elastic would dig in. I found baby love the best as they breath, meaning less rashes. They are well priced for the product, $24 for a box at chemist warehouse. They suit both boys and girls. I used them on all 3 of my children.

  • I’ve only used Huggies I think their the best but not that cheap but I do use baby love their not that bad but rather Huggies
