  • Every pregnancy, delivery and healing after delivery is different. For some the pregnancy comes with serious complications, the delivery long and painful and with serious complications and the healing after delivery with lasting complications. Whereas other have an easy pregnancy, quick and easy delivery and up on their legs in a day. Same for C-sections, it’s for every one different.
Personally I only C-sections (not by choice) and I healed very quick

  • I’ve 2 emergency c-sections and a natural (VBAC) with my second child. It doesn’t really matter so long as bubs is healthy.

  • Had 2 natural births – wanted to avoid a csection at all costs unless baby in danger.

  • Both natural and C section! And both births the girls had the umbilical cord wrapped around their neck, scary stuff, but it all worked out :)

  • I did natural and is was basically quick and painless for me It was really a surprise go natural or even use the drugs for pain relief if your uncomfortable

  • I have had one with pethidine , I have had one drug free (she was too fast for pain relief) I have had one emergency c-section and one planned emergency c-section (a lot easier than the first emergency c-section). Hands down natural birth for me, with or without drugs, yes it hurts at the time but the pain is basically gone right after the placenta is delivered, c-sections hurt for a long time and I needed help for weeks afterwards just getting in and out of bed or on and off the toilet or couch for that matter. I also ended up in intensive care with massive blood clots in both of my lungs (pulmonary embolism), both arms from elbow to wrist and my pelvis, for me is was a horrible experience but a friend of mine has had two now and had hardly any pain from a few days after. hers were both planned (much easier for recovery) and she was able to take the medications I had intolerances to

  • Both my children were born natural and I personally think it’s better for me and bub

  • I preferred natural. Healing from the c-section was much more painful and not being able to move around for a while after, and having limited mobility with pain was less than ideal. I’m not everyone though, as I know some opt for a c-section and prefer them. They must be far tougher than me haha.
