Hello!

I seem to have a million of them eating my herbs and I don’t want to use snail pellets

  • I’d forgotten about egg shells but am going to place them around my letter box as the past year we have snails eating the mail. Not everything they do is slow as they can demolish a letter in no time!

  • I’ve been using crushed eggshells, works a treat.

  • Definitely the crushed egg shells

  • Diatemoues earth (sure I’ve spelt it wrong). It is a natural occurring substance and works as both a pest deterrent and soil conditioner. You can also use it to treat pets for fleas and a heap of other things around the home. Purchase at a health food store.

  • Crushed egg shells, and the beer thing. Or if you can, ducks

  • Sprinkle sawdust around the plants.

  • I buy from a Indian Market/Shop cheap big bag of chilli seeds and spread them around Snails hate them! I also use cheap black pepper sprinkled all over my veggies and herbs. You can also use orange peel it keep slugs and snails from destroying your garden, place some orange peels on the soil they hate crawling over it same as crushed egg-shells.

  • You can pour salt around your plants/paths etc. They crawl on it and it sucks out all of the moisture.

  • I like to use natural remedies/solutions.

  • Crushed eggshells and sand seem to work.

  • Open bottle with leftover beer. I heard that can work
