I am hoping to get some ideas on how to overcome my morning sickness (or at least get some new ideas to try and see if I can help the nausea!) It’s a struggle everyday with simple daily tasks, as well as caring for my toddler. Just wondering if anyone has any different ideas that got them through! Many thanks :-)

  • maybe try eating something before you get out of bed

  • I had to ride mine out, nothing helped :-(

  • I don’t think there is a solution.

  • Some good advice there below.

  • eating yoghurt sultanas worked for me

  • Unfortunately there is no known cure but i saw a smoothie recipe which was meant to help – might of even been on MoMs

  • I found that ginger worked sooo well for me. I ran a deli up until I had my bub. I had morning sickness and the smells in the deli would make me throw up constantly. I have never liked ginger but, a work mate said it was good and at that stage I was ready to try anything that may work. anything with ginger in it. if you have a fancy juicer add fresh ginger with orange and what ever you like and it should help a lot. or grab a yummy juice from the boost juice bar.

  • I found the acupressure wrist bands from the chemist were a big help.

  • I don’t think there is a solution :(

  • Did you manage to find a way to cope with the nausea?

  • i hope you are feeling better :)

  • How are you going now? Hope you are feeling better.

  • Lots of water, flat lemonade and dry crackers worked for me. Some fruits were good to – apricots seemed good. Calm music, gentle walking. If it is really bad (unbearable) some chemists can suggest an anti-nausea tablet.

  • I tried everything and lemonade was the only thing i could keep down.

  • You need to make sure your having snacks. Nausea is a sign that your not eating enough food. Personally, wholegrain rice crackers worked for me, but many of my friends swear by ginger tea. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
