Hello!

Has anyone got any suggestions on easy party finger food for my daughters 16th birthday. Any links to recipes or general ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

  • Nice to read all the idea’s

  • Perhaps something a little posh like a high tea with lots of little sandwiches, cakes, slices, scones.

  • ask your daughter what she and her friends would like, she is old enough to be part of the decision. have fun!

  • I think the usuals – party pies, sausage rolls, chips and dips etc plus perhaps pizzas (teenagers love pizza), maybe some healthy options – sandwiches, fruit kebabs (make your own and also have marshmallows available and a chocolate fountain). Meat balls, chicken wings, kebabs… lots of ideas on pinterest

  • I doubt anyone would say no to different types of pizza.

  • First starting point would be “What are some of your daughters favourite foods?” And “Wha would she like to have?” Party pies, sausage rolls, pin wheels, dips, biscuits, sandwiches, cob loaf. Etc

  • It was an awesome cake. 2nd only to my wedding cake. <3

  • Oh Michelle!! I LOVE THAT CAKE!! :)

  • Thank you all for the suggestions. Party was a huge hit! The cake was the highlight.

  • Fruit kebabs, chocolate fondue, nachos, cupcakes – could even have a table and let them decorate them themselves if you want an activity too, spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce, depending on the child, you could do a high tea style if they are into the girly cake and classy tea party type of party

  • Mini pluto pups, Meatballs,Marinated chicken pieces on skewers, Mocktails was a good one someone posted :) Pinterest is great, they have loads of ideas and pictures.

  • You’re all amazing! Thanks so much for all the suggestions. :)

  • Any type of party food would suit. Maybe mocktails.

  • how about strawberries that you dip in chocolate. i saw a recipe that did this and with milk and white chocolate, they made it look like a tuxedo. pretty cool

  • Strawberries, marshmallows with a fondue. Fresh veges with cheese fondue. Lots of platters, pretty cupcakes. Mini quiches. Maybe a high tea style, 16 year olds are pretty stylish now days. I recently made a Tiffany box cake for a 16th
