Wouldn’t it be nice if in the “Rate It” section we could rate and review books?
What do you all think?

  • What an excellent idea. I would love that. I reckon I would give that a go. I enjoy books and sometimes get stuck for what to read next

  • That’s a very nice idea. And it could be useful not only for our kids but when we are buying books for other kids.

  • Now there’s a good thought. We could also rate kids books showing suitable reading age so we would know which books would make good presents.

  • I would this!

  • I sent this question quite some time ago. I had completely forgotten about it! :-)
And in my idea at that time there wasn’t that section of entertaining books like now. I think it would be fine to stick to books in certain areas like cooking, nutrition, parenting, maybe self-help. But also some “easy reads” that can help us relax when we have a moment for ourselves.
If we all contribute from time to time, it could become something quite nice. :-)

  • That would be a great idea

  • A good idea as we all love a good book!

  • Interesting idea. I already saw a link on the rate-it section for entertaining books

But not for general books maybe because there are so many books! I think you’d have to have a way of finding your book on amazon (or somewhere) and then uploading it along with your review. But would people really come here to look for a review and not a website about books? Or perhaps it would it be better to focus reviews from this website on books to do with parenting or children’s health / growth, family relationships , or perhaps children’s/youth fiction books ? or cooking/entertaining as already mentioned?
