  • Mine like Monkey word school adventure. They do reading eggs in school. You can trial both and see what suits best.

  • ABC Reading Eggs. I organised a free trial for my grandson and he loved it. Learning with fun cant go wrong

  • I bought a set of books to start with just four. I read them first then pointed out the key words. I made flash cards with the key words. We played games like snap with double-up words and the kids recognised the words really fast. I kept adding words and books as they were having fun and learning with me. For boys look for books with cars and trains and animals they seem to help them be more engaged. Always look for books with pictures and simple sentences, rhyming books are fun too. Dr. Seuss books are a great place to start if you are reading out aloud to the children.

  • Reading Eggs is a Fab App/Website to use to help with Reading. Helped my son lots…They use it in School too.

  • We were happy with what school did – we didn’t feel the need to add anything extra into the mix.
