  • We ate a lot of rice , pasta and sometime potatoes and what I used to do try and make the meals easy to eat and put some colours into it such as carrots , greens etc. I used to really try to meats as tender as possible and even rice a bit because it is easier for them to swallow. Mind you it is not always going to work and make them even eat no matter how good it may look so be prepared for that

  • Wraps are always easy – you can change what you put in them, Schnitzel, breast, ham, bacon, sausages – whatever and then fill them with your favourites. We cut up lettuce, tomato, cucumber, capsicum, grate some carrot and cheese, mash avocado and then let the kids choose their fillings – they have to pick at least 4 vegetables.

  • One really tasty and easy recipe is Tuna Pasta Bake. You will need: 300 grams spiral pasta, one large can tuna (480 grams), a small tub tomato paste, one onion, 200 mls cream, salt, pepper, herbs such as parsley, chives, basil etc and one cup tasty grated cheese. Cook pasta first then drain it well. Turn oven onto 180 degrees celsius. Fry onion in oil until well browned. Add tomato paste and cook a little. Then add cream and herbs, salt and pepper. When this has cooked a little, take off heat and add the tuna. Give this a good mix and then add this to the cooked pasta. Top with grated tasty cheese and bake in oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with salad. This is quick and yummy.
