  • I use the carcass from roast chicken, put it in the slow cooker with lots of veggies, garlic and ginger. And let it slow cook away for 24 hours or so. The broth alone is a superstar. But if you want to make it more enticing for everyone, strain the stock, add more veggies and maybe chicken pieces or a packet of chicken noodle soup. Great immune booster

  • A teaspoon of olive leaf extract will build up the immune system. It’s a horrible taste but worth it.

  • Thanks for all that great suggestions … i hate the flu

  • just anything warm and steamy. she won’t be able to taste much anyway

  • the good old chicken soup or noodle soup for something quick

  • A pinch of turmeric in 2 spoon milk if given regularly (once or twice a day) it really helps and another thing is add little black pepper in milk or curd (that ways it wound not produce cough)

  • Honey & lemon tea is fantastic when sick and chicken soup hope this helps love.

  • Honey, lemon with a touch of ginger as a drink. Coughs are very hard to get rid of and can linger for weeks.

  • give her some cold medicine and also maybe increase her vitamin c levels with oranges or a tablet

  • we use honey and lemon in warm water

  • Honey and lemon with some boiling water (just enough to make the honey runny), oranges and kiwi fruit. I also do a lot of chicken and vegetable soup!

  • oh god thanks you my son has also had a cold for like 5 weeks and doesn’t seem to be improving will try some of these too

  • Fresh oranges work well with my kids, as does kiwi fruit.

  • Plectranthus amboinicus is a plant which helps to fight against fever and associated symptoms in babies. The leaves of the plants are used. It is a very effective home remedy for cold, fever and cough in children. Leaves of this plant is squeezed and the juice is taken. A teaspoonful of juice when given to babies would cure their cough, cold, fever, sore throat, nasal congestion and chest congestion. To take the juice, steam the leaf and squeeze it.
