Hello!

Can the MoM members please help me with some recommendations for an eye cream? I’m in my mid thirties and have sensitive skin. I’ve tried most of the relatively cheaper brands like L’Oreal, Nivea, Avon, etc and they all burn my eyes, so I’d really like to hear some experiences before I shell out more money on different or more expensive brands.

  • Olay has an eye gel for tired, dehydrated eyes. I’ve tried it and it doesn’t sting.

  • I hope you were able to find a nice cream. We use the basic olay range in the pink bottle from coles

  • I would just go for raw organic coconut oil. It’s all pure and natural, a delight for your skin and relatively cheap.

  • I’ve used Avon for years with no issue. Sounds like you need to keep shopping around and trying more brands

  • There are so many types of creams and bands available that it is getting ridiculous to choose. For me, I don’t like eye creams. If you find a suitable face cream , then just include the eye area rather than putting cream only around the eyes. Maybe just try a small jar when it goes on sale to test if you really need it .

  • I too am in my 30s and have very sensitive skin. I invested in an eye cream from Bobbi Brown. It was not cheap (about $60 or so) but it is awesome. I would totally recommend it if you had the money to spend. The jar seems to be lasting a long time, as you don’t actually need much.

  • Comfort range from Nutrimetics for sensitive skin. Friend uses and loves it. http://www.nutrimetics.com.au/tracybaker. If you are interested. leave a message

  • NAT skincare has a really good one that i recieved as a prize and just love, maybe try emailing a few companies and ask for trial samples

  • I use cream from a little Aussie company called Rubifresh, and it’s the only skin-care range that’s helped my skin. Natural and gentle, and they’re available online.

  • I need an answer to this also as nutri metics avocado eye cream hurt my eyes also.

  • there are some good comments here

  • What did you end up using?

  • Algology is a good brand for eye cream

  • Elizabeth Arden is very good, also Olay. Lacura available at Aldi, is an English make up. None of these irritate my sensitive skin.

  • Some good advice there below.
