Recommendations for choice of Carpet?

Does anyone have any good recommendations for choice of carpet? Soft or Hard? Sturdy and tough? Something that is good with kids.

There are so many choices, it’s best to ask a carpet salesman for recommendations.

go into the store and see what you like. there is a more standard type of carpet that a lot of rentals have in them and they are really hardy.
