Hello!

We have two dogs that are inside at night and I just seem to end up with loads of stains and dog hair through the couch. If they go in the car it ends up through there as well. I have tried vacuums for the car and disinfectant on couch. Just wanting to know what else I could use. Thanks

  • Keep them off certain things do you have dog hair free areas. Keep them in the back of your car too

  • We have dog free zones. For example, they’re not allowed on the furniture and they sit in the back of our station wagon. That limits the amount of hair we come into contact with. I haven’t found a product that removes all, or even most, pet hair

  • Lint brushes work well. I couldn’t find ours last week when I cleaned the car, so used plain sticky tape for the back of the car seat cover our dog had rubbed against. Even though it worked, it was more tedious. Will be searching the dolls clothes and toy box for my lint brush next time. The sticky rollers do work too but I can’t seem to buy refills in our little town.

  • Brush everyday! Don;t let it build up.

  • For starters, teach them to stay off the furniture! For the hair there are many vacuums with pet hair attachments. The stains…..no idea cos I don’t know what they are

  • Also; I suggest brushing the dogs daily to remove any excess hair.

  • I suggest placing blankets/covers on sofa’s and seats and then pop them in the wash when dirty. Also; a damp cloth rubbed over the surfaces should remove extra hair and stains. It is always an ongoing job! Good Luck!

  • Remember that stupid ad and it was like this sticky tape on a roller or something and it would pick up everything..

  • Just wipe with a damp cloth.

  • A damp rubber glove, or a fluff brush(those things that you use for clothing)

  • Looks like you got some great feedback:)

  • some really good tips here

  • I have a puppy that lives inside and i remove the hair from the furniture by using a robber glove with dimples on one side, I dampen the dimpled side by wiping it with a wet cloth and then just run my hands over the sofas, chairs etc.
    Good luck.

  • My dog sleeps inside. She has her own bed, no sleeping on the couch. I have an old Donna on her bed so I can clean it. She used to sneak into the couch when I went to bed, so I caught her one night and put her and the bed outside for the night, no more sleeping on the couch. We have a robot vacuum cleaner so it goes on every second day.

  • Dog hair drives me nuts too. It seems that as soon as we’ve vacuumed its everywhere all over again.
