  • I thought I was beyond trying to clean my husbands work jumper so I thought I’d give the Koh universal cleaner a go thinking I am throwing the jumper out if it doesn’t work what harm can it do…… well wasn’t I surprised it all came out the tar grease and emulsion that had been on the jumper for months …. amazed and happy another reason to love Koh

  • I don’t think they will ever really come out

  • I donot think you’ll ever completely remove these stains. Try washing in warm water with dish detergent. There’s stain remover spray for oil stains. Try soaking in Napisan. Lots to try, not sure what will or won’t work

  • I found the best treatment for grease stains is to mix a paste of Napisan and water and rub into the stain. Leave for 30 mins and was as usual. Repeat as necessary. Another suggestion is, one I have tried on the couch but not on clothes, apply and rub in a small amount of dishwashing detergent on the stain before washing.

  • Have tried many products and have found eucalyptus oil the best. Leave it on for a while but test a small area first just to be sure it wont do any damage to fabric or colour.

  • I have tried many potions and solutions and have found eucalyptus oil to be the most successful.

  • Some grease you will never get out. I spray Sard degreaser spray on the bad bits, then soak in hot water with Sard degreaser soaker and then warm wash in Omo. My husband’s clothes don’t come up too bad. He is a truck driver and does his own maintenance so his clothes and overalls can come home black.

  • Bicarb soda and vinegar :D turn it into a paste and sit for 10 mins then rinse off and wash :D

  • Get some anmonia and make into a paste and the strain is gone I’ve also done this.

  • Following, I’d love to know, sometimes preen works for me sometimes it doesn’t.

  • Try hand washing with plain old soap. Then a degreaser and hot water.

  • I’ve used a degreaser spray & washed in hot water

  • try vanish napisan. Thats what i use for every stains

  • I would try and soak them in hot water too

  • exit soap works well most times for me
