Hello!

I use a lint brush but still find it difficult to remove from all clothes. Is there any method to prevent lint sticking on clothes while washing or after washing? Thanks

  • Wash your clothes inside-out. This is especially effective for garments you know are lint-shedders or lint-magnets. …
Wash with distilled white vinegar. …
Use the “air only” setting on the dryer. …
    Use a dryer sheet.

  • It’s very frustrating trying to remove lint.

  • You can buy a lint comb which is good but is very time consuming.

  • I have this problem too. I have started using a dryer which does remove a lot of lint.

  • We’d never had a dryer up until my nanna gave me hers a few months ago. I just wore linted stuff everywhere LOL My hubby likes to ‘help’ by doing the washing but his style of washing is either jam everything possible into the machine or wash clothes with towels. Soooo not fun! So the dryer has been my saviour for lint removal.

  • Maybe your washing machine needs a clean? There are little rubber, spiked balls you can buy for thus problem. Through them into the wash

  • don’t do towels with all the clothes

  • following. using the dryer helps

  • I think I have already made a comment here. But I just thought you must watch what you are washing with your clothes what you are mixing together in the wash.

  • I hate laundry lint and usually get it when I haven’t paid attention to sorting the washing. Some items seem to ooze lint and need to be washed by themselves, also cleaning the filter is something I pay close attention to.

  • clean the filters a few times a year

  • check the filters on your washing machine to try to remove as much as you can that way

  • make sure you don’t have any towels or fluffy stuff in with your normal wash

  • separate your washing, jumpers and towels should be washed seperatly from other clothes and then lint shouldn’t be a problem

  • I found this article ages ago, and it’s saved my sanity as I have a washing machine that seems to thrive on covering my laundry with lint. Good luck!
