Hello!

What do people who have robo vaccums think of them? I vaccum everyday but with 2 under 2 the mess never ends! So are they worth it? Do they go up on rugs well? Also after recommendations on which robo-vac and are more expensive ones worth the $$$$?

  • I have one but I honestly don’t think it cleans as well as if I did it manually myself. Still feels dirty after it does its job

  • I needed this thread because I have been wanting one too, even the hubby has been asking about one

  • We love our roombas . We have a lot of wood floors and wood fire , so dusty so easy . I have a 11 and 2 yr old and they are great at picking everything up so we can set Roomba and come home to a clean floor . I just ish my couch was high enough for them to go under .

  • I’ve been pondering this question myself for a while but unsure if I can commit to spending so much money on a vacuum. I wish you were able to hire them to see if they were suitable for your home.

  • The EUFY!!! Honestly one of the best investments Ive made in a while. Paid just under $400 but they have been known to go half price sometimes!!! Its fantastic and so great some days just to be able to mop straight away without having to vacuum first because ‘Dustin Hoffman’ has already done it for me. Totally worth it and I wish I had one when I had 3 under 3!

  • I didn’t find it very good in fact after 2 weeks I went and bought a different vacuum because it was missing big areas, I don’t have rugs so can’t answer that one for you but I give robotic vacuum two thumbs down ???? they just miss too much that you end up having to sweep up what they missed anyway. I hope this helps, good luck

  • I am thinking of getting one, I think there is one at aldi soon.

  • Following this as I want one too! Mop and vacuum preferable but honestly I’m having heart attacks when I see the prices being over a thousand bucks. I don’t really have the money for that but I have a two year old and 7 month old so it does get hard to keep things neat and tidy.

  • I had one at my last rental that came with the place as it was furnished and it never cleaned very well. I much prefer a good corded vacuum.

  • I have 2 under 2 also. These robot vacuums are the best. If we got on a walk I turn it on and when I get back the house is clean!

  • Nope way to expensive……..

  • I have a Roborock S6 Pure and LOVE it! Highly recommend. Her name is Roberta and she is a valued member of our family ???? We have multiple flooring types and levels, plus a few rugs and she never gets stuck. I was horrified at how much dust she picked up from places like under the couch where I hadn’t reached with my stick vac when she did her first few cleans.
She has a mopping function, but I wouldn’t recommend it for that, definitely still need to do a manual mop.

  • I have a Deebot that I haven’t mastered yet – I haven’t done one full vac of the house yet. The dog gets in the way. I put him outside the other day but he then whimpers and scratches the windows to get in. It’s a work in progress. But I love what I see on insta stories of working ecovacs!

  • The deebot 945 is fantastic. It mops and vacuums. Has smart mapping so it can learn the outlay of the house / only do certain areas which you choose using an app on your phone. Dust bin is reasonable size. We have mostly had floors with area rugs and it does all of this well

  • I’d rather stick with my dyson.
