I love the sound of the peppermint and vinegar solution

I show the spiders a photo of me taken first thing in the morning, and that’s enough for the spiders to run screaming out of the house at great speed. OK, on a more serious note, I bought a cheap spray bottle, put 100 ml white vinegar in it, along with 10 drops peppermint oil, and topped up with water. I sprayed around window sills & door frames with the liquid, and we haven’t had a spider inside in over 6 months.

We just use a good outdoor barrier spray every six months. Seems to be working well enough!

You could encourage geckos? Either that or use a heavy duty surface spray, just remember spiders eat mozzies!

I would spray the outside of your house with a goos pestiside or you could buy a lizard

I love the sound of the lemon oil – would smell nice and if it keeps the spiders out even better. I get so many ideas from MOM!
