Hello!

I’ve lost my appetite completely with my second pregnancy and I have to force myself to eat. Has anyone felt like this during pregnancy and is it normal?

  • I wish that were me! I’m struggling to stop eating all the time!

  • I’ve only had one child, but I know of friends who lost weight during their pregnancy as they just didnt have an appetite or it made them feel sick to eat.

  • Yep. Morning sickness put me off eating full stop! I found that little bits several times a day helped. And I found it easy to down soups and smoothies over meals

  • I like to track using my fitness pal to make sure I’m getting enough protein and fats. Discuss with your dr

  • Yes, it’s normal. If your OB isn’t worried you shouldn’t either. Just take your vitamins, try to stay hydrated though. Your food cravings will be back soon enough. ???? I was like that for 6 months of my last pregnancy

  • yes I had different eating habits for all 3 of mine. make sure to take the pregnancy multivitamins and just have small meals. hopefully it will pass soon.

  • Yep smaller snack sized meals did the trick

  • Yes. Not very motivated to eat, but also depends on what it is. Have to have small portions. If it’s any bigger I’m put off due to reflux.

  • My second pregnancy is similar! I haven’t completely lost my appetite but definitely not eating as much as I did for my first! I put it down to hormones but please see a doctor for a check up either way.

  • I had morning sickness through both of my pregnancies so I didn’t feel like eatin at all. I had one average size and one above average size baby, so they don’t always suffer

  • Yes i faced this in my second pregnancy thats why my kids born as tiny baby

  • I was like that even with my first prego..never wanted to eat anything specially 1st trimester.

  • I did when I was going through the morning sickness phase

  • I didn’t have a loss of appetite, but I’m wondering if it’s something hormonal.

  • I didnt have that issue but i heard its normal thing but you need to keep eating as your body need it.
