Hello!

I am currently 37 wks pregnant & measuring at 35 weeks. This is the second time this has happened. Should I be worried?

  • Yes, this is something you should discuss with the medical professional and to be honest I think they will discuss it with you when they are concerned about the size of your baby !

  • Your health care professionals would advise whether there is anything to worry about. I hope all went well.

  • Has your midwife or obstetrician said it was anything to worry about? When they tell you it’s worrying, you can be sure it’s worrying! Two weeks growth difference isn’t that big a deal anyway

  • I’m sure if it was anything to worry about, your medical professionals will have said something to you. It’s only 2 weeks difference, I should think that’s not a huge leap

  • If your ob is not worried, you have nothing to be worried about. You probably just have a small baby. Having said that in all 3 of my cases on was surprised at how big they all were.

  • You should only be concerned if the Dr is concerned. There doesn’t seem to be too much size wise to stress about

  • Be guided by your medical care provider and ask them questions. It’s only an average and people and babies come in different sizes!

  • I wouldn’t be too worried – maybe just a little baby

  • I wouldn’t worry as long as bub is fine that all that matters!

  • Measurements fluxuate during pregnancy. As long as the dr says everything is fine on the ultrasound i wouldn’t worry

  • I was told my baby was measuring under/small with the tape at 31 weeks.. At 32 weeks I had an ultrasound to check placenta placement – & baby was measured at 4p 7oz, 2kg! you just never know..

  • As long as your doc says bub is healthy I wouldn’t worry. My belly was measuring a little small most of my pregnancy & my son weighed 8lb9oz & was 53.5cm long ay birth. The strength of your belly muscles & how much amniotic fluid your carrying can make a big difference to your size.

  • I have now had the baby and he is was a big baby it just goes to show they never really know as he was 3.70kg and I am small framed person.

  • nothing to worry about at all, all babies are different and so long as your doctor is not worried dont be worried.

  • In less your midwife is worried I would not stress about it at all, some babies are small for their size.
