  • Go to a dr now

  • I had spotting at five weeks but it turned out to be nothing serious. I hope all went well for you.

  • I would seek medical advice, but it’s often not anything to worry about.

  • It’s quite common and doesn’t have to be directly a reason for concern

  • I had spotting with my first pregnancy. It was brownish in colour, which the Dr said it was normal and noting to worry about. It’s always best to see your Dr just for peace of mind

  • Usually common – BUT – anything like this you should consult your medical practitioner.

  • Quick google says “Light bleeding, or spotting, during pregnancy is common, especially during the first trimester. Usually this is no cause for alarm.”… I would not worry (easy to say I know) since that can only increase stress and does no one any good, but just go get a check up to put your mind at rest. Keep calm in the mean time!

  • Hope everything is OK for you and you got some advice and help from your GP. x

  • Always go straight to your GP whenever there is bleeding or anything out of the ordinary.

  • I agree with the other mums its always best to get checked out by a doctor if you are worried about that.. Sometimes Its nothing but other times there is a UTI or something else thats better treated than left..

  • I think you should make an appt with your Dr asap. It could be nothing at all & just a simple little bleed but it could also be something else. It’s best to have it checked out to put your mind at ease.

    Hope everything is ok.
    Xx

  • Nothing makes you worry like seeing anything that could possibly be blood in those first few weeks. There are heaps of reasons women get spotting in early pregnancy. Try to stay calm (nearly impossible sorry) and make an appointment to see your doctor as soon as you can. I hope everything is ok. xx
