Hello!

No judgement please. My partner had a sudden heart attack and tragically passed away six months ago and I was left a single mum of two young girls. I am really really struggling to move on. A friend of mine has suggested that I see a clairvoyant to see if they can make contact with him and get some closure. I am pretty much not at all spiritual and am not religious and wouldn’t normally believe in this kind of thing but willing to try anything to help me process this. Has anyone ever done this and got some comfort out of it? Thanks!

  • Aw bless, you must be heart broken ! Take your time to grief, which can be years ! xx

  • I hear you. I lost my husband just over 4yrs ago. My situation was different as my daughters were grown and my husband had an 18mth battle with cancer so we had time to prepare mentally for him perhaps not winning the fight.
We all handle things in different ways so you do what you need to do to get through.

  • So sorry to hear that! If you think it would help you heal then go for it!

  • I am so sorry for your loss sweetie.
I would suggest, not going down this path. Grief takes many forms, and I would say that for you to lose someone so important in your life, it would be hard to move on so quickly. I would suggest, journalling. both through the pain, on your good days and on your bad days. Invest in seeing a counsellor rather than anything else. good luck lovely. and take your time to process.

  • I would only go down this path if you can find a reliable, trustworthy and reputable clairvoyant – particularly someone who comes recommended by someone you know and trust. As well as completely honest clairvoyants, there are also many dodgy ones who will prey on your distress and terrible situation.

  • If you feel that you can’t move on then it might help if you go to a spiritual church if one is in your area and he might come through wanting to send a message and it might take you a few times going also it might help you mixing with others seeking messages and you might find a Clarvoyant there who someone can tell you that is genuine as a lot of fakes around only interested in money and not how much you need help. But I would try and meditate yourself and light a white candle ask that he comes to you and you never know he might come through to you. Look for signs in your house things being moved he will be around you and the children and he will always be in your heart forever. He will come to you when you sleep just remember what comes to you or a word. Just remember to light a white candle but be aware to blow out before you leave the room you could put a picture of him with the candle amd ask him to show you a message or sign. Peace be with you the angels are around to help.

  • Oh I am SO so sorry to hear what you are going through. Please bear in mind that people will try and take advantage of that fact you lost your hubby and will give you false readings. Or it may be someone else that comes through. You can still speak with him when alone, and sometimes people will send messages or hints that they are around. I wish there was something I could say that would comfort you, but I am offering hugs across the internet :)

  • I’m so sorry for your loss.
I think if your friend has a reputable clairvoyant in mind who isn’t going to prey on your circumstances then it can do no harm. Getting closure so you can move forwards for your childrens and your wellbeing is important. And I think whether you get that spiritually, or via counselling or even slapping fish – it doesn’t matter. What matters is it has a positive impact on your wellbeing.
    Good luck x

  • I’m so sorry for your loss… I feel if it would help with closure then you should try, however someone else you have lost in the past may come through, you can’t control who comes through unfortunately so you need to be prepared for that scenario as well

  • So Sorry for your loss and so sudden. Have a go see a reputable Clairvoyant ask around. I had a lady come up to me said she had seen me a few times in the cafe and she explained that two gentlemen are with me said their names one from my side of the family the other from my husbands. Told me their professions and said they follow me around and guide me. She also told me another couple of things that were so true about both men that were true too. She was a random lady who had the courage to approach me it was affirmation that these Clairvoyant people are ok! I felt great after the initial shock as I was just sitting and have my morning tea. It was lovely. Go for it keep your mind open and if this gives you comfort it’s right for you.

  • I’ve never been to a clairvoyant so I can’t tell you yes or no. If you do decide to go just make sure you see one who has had positive results and not someone who will just want to take your money. If you feel this is what you need to do then by all means try one and hopefully you will get some closure. I’m truly sorry for your loss and wish you peace.

  • If she is prepared to accept the answer fine go ahead. If she isn’t let sleeping dogs lie.

  • I’ve never been, but I know that when I need him my dad is with me. He passed away 20 years ago. You should know that your husband is with you when you need him. Talk to him, as for guidance. If you are open you will find what you seek. You don’t need to a clairvoyant for this. We all have the ability to communicate with those who have passed. Just don’t expect the answer to be words spoken out loud or even in your head. Relax your mind and the guidance and comfort will come.

  • Death isn’t the final answer. I believe your husband is asleep in the ground until the end time. Don’t see a clairvoyant- they may give the appearance of contacting dead but the dead cannot be contacted. It’s all an illusion. Best thing you can do is contact a church and find out about what happens after you die. I can recommend the Seventh Day Adventist Church who have a conclusive explanation and evidence to back it up.

  • I’m all for exploring your spiritual side and have had some fantastic experiences. You do what feels right for you to give you some form of comfort to move forward.
