Hello!

My infant was diagnosed with laryngomalacia when she was born now she has grown out of this but still have some heavy breathing sound at times. Its winter and I am worried if she might get that heavy breathing if she catches cold, so I was thinking if a humidifier would help. Any one had the same issue?

  • We used a warm humidifer for colds. Be aware that hot or cold can cause mold abd dirty walls (which is fine, just means cleaning). Cold ones can make the room cold, hot ones need to be where the child can’t reach it so they don’t burn themselves. Diffusers also work, but with less liquid.
