Hello!

Apart from the tried and tested remedies and products for eczema, have many found any cures? Did it just stop at a certain age, or have you just had to live with it for life?

  • Unfortunately there is no cure., it’s can only be controlled and treated. My daughter and son both had it, extremely bad and after taking a blood test that tested for over 60 allergens we now know they are both allergic to ALL dairy. We eliminated dairy from their diet and their skin (which was continually weeping and scab bed cleared up all together. You can tell when they sneak a piece of cheese or chocolate because they have a flare up.

  • My friend and her son both had eczema. Turns out they were both sensitive to eating nightshades – that is, tomatoes, eggplants, mushrooms etc. It might be worthwhile going off nightshades and seeing if that makes a difference.

  • you can try to control and manage it. check with the doc. i know that naturopath’s have helped other mums too.

  • most people have it for life, but i haven’t dealt with it personally.
