  • There was a time when I had to have once a week for a while because that particular day was my late shift, hub was still at work at it was the simplest solution to a cooked meal for the kids when late. I used to make my own rice and just get a couple of dishes .

  • We do tAke away dinners. We cook our dinner then take it to the park to eat

  • once or twice – if that! I love to cook, and love the family to help me in the kitchen. I look at it as a time to laugh, share and create a yummy meal

  • Not often maybe once or twice at most. Mostly because they cost a fortune!

  • We try not to have takeaway but somehow ended up getting them but it is only once or twice a month.

  • Too Many :(
I’d like to see some ideas on easy meals for people who hate cooking and also have no time!

  • We try to keep it no more than once a week, sometimes only 2 twice a month

  • Can not remember the last time we had take aways, about once every couple of months

  • Take away is reserved for special occasions only; birthday treats!

  • maybe about twice a month? and it would normally be fish and chips or pizza.

  • Mmm, monthly take away food,. It is not in our budget at the moment, so given the costs, we do not monthly, but maybe every few months, as a treat, but only a healthy treat. It is also very difficult to satisfy a vegan, a vegetarian, and two meat/vege eaters at just one take out joint, so unless we plan and shop around, it is nearly not worth the effort. Besides, we can have anything we like at home if the ingredients are on the shopping list beforehand. Much healthier and cost effective, and with a little imagination with the dinner setting, we could be in any city in the world.

  • Absolutely never.

  • Maybe once a month if were lucky.. The joys of livening in a country town with no take away for about an hour..

  • We try to stick to once a month has I prefer to cook fresh food for my little children. At least I know what goes in

  • We have maybe one takeaway dinner per month and might go out to a sit down restaurant/bistro meal once a month. The budget is tight, but we still try to live a little.
