  • My babies happily, and successfully, self weaned. The breast feeds just slowed down, becoming less and less til they just stopped

  • i read somewhere the same issue she put some transparent tape on nipples and her child stop BF you can try

  • I’m having trouble with night time feeds… but day time she’s off I just had to tell her no.. and give her more food.. She fusses about at times but just got to keep to it

  • I find my milk gradually dried up as feeds became less frequent. The more solids they were eating and the older they got, the less I breast fed. It seems you may be having other issues that are requiring you to stop now, I don’t know what those issues are, so I can’t help. Sorry

  • So many factors can affect this; how old is you baby? Why do you need to stop, are you having issues that can be helped? If very young contact Breastfeeding Association Australia, they may be able to assist, if your returning to work there’s the potential to pump – if you’re (like me) mum to an older toddler who insists on feeding all night and far too many times during the day there’s some tricks including bandaids on your boobs ‘opps broken’

  • Pump less frequently and ease off, as for Bub go cold turkey and go to formula.

  • Use solid and formula for baby and just quit the breast feeding
