Hello!

I love to try different recipes, especially Asian and Indian savoury dishes, but often these dishes contain Coriander which I absolutely LOATHE with a passion. Does anyone have a similar problem, and if so, what would you substitute for Coriander without it spoiling the dish?

  • Just don’t add it. Taste as you go and add whatever you feel it needs.

  • I am the opposite and love coriander!

  • I love Indian curries which use cardamom pods, blech, can’t stand them! I just leave them out. Usually in Asian meals the coriander is fresh, i would think you could just leave that out too

  • you should try parsley. or you can coriander is just used for garnish and enhance the taste it doesn’t make any difference. if you don’t like parsley or coriander just skip it, it will be taste nice without this herbs….

  • Can substitute with Parsley if you want, or just leave it out like I do. Doesn’t make all that great a difference in my opinion. Hope, that helps.

  • You can just leave it out, no need to replace it with anything else. I personally do not like it either and this is what I do. You can experiment though and try whatever you chose.
