  • When plane is leave the ground feed ur baby or use pacifier so helps him or her to keep ears open

  • Breast feeding or bottle feeding babies, offer the boob or bottle for take off and landing to help avoid the ear problems.

  • I was told to avoid ear problems while flying you need to ensure they are sucking on something during take off and landing. Such as a dummy, a bottle, the breast or a lollipop (for older kids) Good luck, enjoy your trip

  • I travelled from Australia to Scotland with my daughter at 5 months, I took milk and also some puree to give her at take off and landing so she was sucking and her ears would not pop. It was a lot easier at 5 months than 2.5 years.

    good luck

  • Take off and landing make sure that the baby is sucking (breast feed, bottle or dummy). While in the air I always had the bassinet seat. I just fed them, poped them in and they went to sleep.

  • Prepare enough bottles and let him suckle when taking off and landing.

  • you could breast feed him while the plane is going up and again on the way down

  • there are some good comments here

  • sucking dummy helps. The noise of the plane will actually soothes the baby more. It was like that for me so I was worrying for nothing

  • Hope some of the suggestions below helped.

  • i think the most common answer for the ear popping is to ensure that they are sucking (dummy, bottle, boob)

  • Hope all went well with your travels with your little one.

  • How did you end up going?

  • sucking on anything will help with stopping the ears from popping

  • What did you end up doing?
