  • There are lots of soothing creams at the chemist to help with this. But I highly recommend nipple sheilds so they have a chance to heal.

  • Lansinoh nipple cream is great. Also maybe use a nipple shield until nipples heal

  • Lanolin balm was recommended to me by the midwife at the hospital, worked great for me

  • Paw paw balm worked great for me

  • laser therapy from the physio if they are really bleeding. otherwise nipple shield and lasional

  • I used Lansinoh when I was in trouble. I had to cut right back and express breastmilk for a while to rest them as well. Rest and Lansinoh and being more mindful/ careful when latching on did the trick and I recovered well. Good luck!

  • Lansinoh works for me and if the crack was particularly bad resting or even some prescribed ointment just to make sure there was no residual thrush etc which was preventing proper healing. Sorry i cannot think of the name.

  • Benpathen for future reference is excellent for nipples and babies bottoms

  • I used paw paw ointment.

  • Some good suggestions below – hope it helped.

  • Lansinoh is a good one

  • Breast milk or nipple cream either either works

  • Breast milk is by far the best

  • After feeding express a few drops of milk & let it dry on your nipple

  • Stop freeing. Express for a little. That’s wot doc told me. Let it heal
