All dogs are different with their own personality. It may end up you have nothing to worry about considering this. Or it could be that they just follow the older dogs lead, but I doubt it. Try buying them their ow, unique toy. I’m a bit worried the other dog may have ‘issues’ as it seems to be overly obsessed with a ball

For the existing dog, what about some kind of tetherball so the dog can still play without you having to the throw the ball all the time? You can also get dog Frisbees, tug or war toys that are great for their teeth.

the sky is the limit for things you can teach a puppy. From the basic sit, shake, hi five, roll over, stay, then once that is mastered you can go for the more complex tricks.
