Hello!

They currently watch Octonauts and Dinosaur Train. I prefer the shows to have some educational value. Suggestions would be great. Thanks

  • All the shows on ABC2, or is it ABCME, or ABCKIDs…..I can’t remember, but ABC in general is fabulous for kids shows, most are educational too

  • Go Jetters on ABC2 teaches them about geography, it’s not entirely terrible.

  • Most of the shows on ABC2 would be educational and/or entertaining for young children.

  • I definitely recommend Mister Maker on Channel 2 Kids. Not only is most of educational it teaches all sorts of craft ideas using items you would probably already have in your home, or even in your garden. Most times items do not appear to be expensive if you do need to buy some.
Play School is educational in that they read stories that are sometimes eduactional, sometimes just general ones. The often have a moral message in them for the child that can understand them.

  • I would avoid to time as much as possible but ABC2 has lots of good children’s shows

  • Get them outside playing in the fresh air, getting some exercise. Then you won’t have to worry so much about filling their time with TV shows

  • Peter Rabbit, Bob the Builder, Wiggles may be a bit young.

  • Playschool:)

  • Bob The Builder. Fireman Sam, Petter Rabbit and Mister Maker.

  • Haha I was going to say Mr Maker but it’s been mentioned quite a bit!! My kids love Play School which I like too because they use stuff like cardboard boxes to make toys to play with, and do cooking too.

  • the national geographic channel has some great things for kids.

  • Yo Gabba Gabba- fantastic show for learning a variety of different things. From colours, numbers and the normal things to how to play nicely with your friends (Don’t bite your friends is a favourite song in our house)

  • play school, mister maker ad yo gabba gabba.

  • Team Umizoomi is great, as is Sesame Street or Play School. Mister Maker is great to get the kids wanting to reate things to play with and Little Einsteins is great if you want to foster an interest in music.

  • I haven’t seen a show I wouldn’t want the kids to see on abc2 yet so am happy to leave the TV on that channel for them.
