Hello!

Hello again! I just wanted to let you all know I appreciate your help and thank everyone of you to give me great suggestions. I also think that I should have asked the question with more detail. Yes it’s my facial skin that’s dry. I assume it’s drying out with time and age. Sometimes it gets itchy too, like it’s eczema but I never had this condition. It’s not still very itchy just a bit bothering but I will keep some suggestion in mind. I have bought olive oil already and I will give bananas a try for sure. Thanks again and any other home remedies are most welcome :)

  • Great that we got an update. Hope it all goes well :)

  • This is one of the few times where someone has posted an update to their question. I often wonder what some people do and how things work out for them. Thank you for the update

  • I put coconut oil on, not all the time but when my face is really dry. I dislike the olive oil smell hence the coconut prefence. drinking water has helped too and for my face, ive joined up the gym where they have a steam room. it clears up my face and body and my body isn’t dry that’s one bonus thing I get out of it. I haven’t been to the gym for over a month now and my face and body is getting really dry and sometimes itchy, I will need to find the time to get back to the gym and use their steam room. my body prefers humid weather than dry weather especially going into colder weather. my body hates dry heating.

  • I do enjoy reading follow up stories on previous posts. It’s always good to see someone has been helped to solve their problem by posting it on MoMs. There sure is lots of great advice and tips on here

  • I use the cetaphil products on my sensitive skin

  • If you live in an area that is sandy or there is any type of grit blowing around in the air, that may make your skin dry and itchy. If you get it on your face, try sponging it with cool water and a very gentle soap or preparations that others than can guide you with before adding more moisturiser.

  • I got a really good massage oil and used that at night really help with dry skin

  • Thanks for your update, olive oil worked for me.

  • That’s good to hear!

  • thank you for your update

  • Glad you was able to take some suggestions and put them into practice. Night creams are best as they are thicker as long as you moisturise daily you should be fine. sometimes what I do is put my day cream on really thick and let it stay on my face for half hour the rub in as much as I can the gently wipe off with tissue.

  • good to hear your update,

  • that is good to hear, i hope one of the suggestions work

  • I really hope you find something that works for you
