Hello!

Does anyone Celebrate Valentine’s Day? I don’t think I have ever been given flowers or chocolates on Valentines Day

  • We usually share a card and buy a little something for eachother (like a bottle of wine, chocolates, a bunch of flowers)

  • It’s not something I spend time or money on. In the past many years back have somewhat done something but I’d much rather celebrate with my partner at any random time.

  • we go out on regular date nights so don’t see the need for valentines day

  • No my husband and I never have. We don’t see the point in wasting money on a holiday like that as we show each other we love each other in other ways every day.

  • We haven’t celebrated Valentine’s Day since we were teenagers. I hate that it’s a commercialised day to tell someone you love them. I would much rather get random flowers or a card throughout the year as it means so much more, it’s done out of true love and not because someone is telling you too

  • We will generally do a card and small gift and try and get out for breakfast or lunch. This year we got a McDonalds breakfast and took out 2yo down the beach for the morning which was really nice. I also like to pop a heart shape chocolate or something cute in my other kids lunch boxes.

  • My husband and I generally give each other a card and we sometimes go out for dinner. We have done flowers etc occasionally. Not a huge deal but we use it as a reminder of how much we like each other

  • It’s our wedding anniversay, thats the only reason we celbrate. before we were marreid we never did valentines things!

  • My husband and I did it once, before we had our son.. we’re not really into it. We buy things when we need it, we’re not fond of flowers because they die, and again we get chocolate when we want it. I mean its good if thats your thing but we try show our love for eachother as often as possible instead of one certain day.

  • We don’t normally. One year I got a chocolate rose, another year I gave a teddy bear. That’s it! No more! Appreciation for those in your life is a daily, all year round thing for me

  • I don’t really believe in valentines or anniversaries they are just another day to me because I don’t think you need to mark a special day to put pressure on each other, I believe that any day during the year can be just as giving or special when it suits you both that’s how we celebrate our lives together I also think that having each other, kids, work and everything that my hubby does for us is his gift we just make time anytime.

  • Same, I don’t think anyone has ever given me presents or flowers on Valentines Day. I guess that is why I don’t buy into it. My ex just wasn’t very romantic….

  • Sadly vday went under the radar this year as we were in isolation ????

  • We haven’t celebrated Valentines Day for years. Maybe the first few years of dating, but once we got married we haven’t bothered. I guess we have better things to spend our money on now lol.

  • We don’t. Maybe the first couple of years we were together but not any more
